Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Image to PDF Converter ("the App"), provided by ByteForge Tools ("we", "us", or "our"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Use of the App
Image to PDF Converter is a utility app that helps you combine images into PDF files on your device. You may use the App for personal or lawful business purposes, subject to these Terms and applicable laws.
2. Local Processing
The App is designed to process selected images locally on your device. We do not provide cloud image storage, online backup, or server-side PDF generation as part of the App. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups of original images and generated PDF files.
3. Your Responsibilities
- You must have the legal right to process, convert, save, and share the images you select.
- You are responsible for reviewing generated PDF files before sharing, renaming, or deleting them.
- You should avoid sharing files that contain sensitive personal, confidential, copyrighted, or regulated information unless you intend to do so and have the right to do so.
- You must not use the App for illegal, harmful, infringing, abusive, or deceptive purposes.
4. File Operations
The App may allow you to create, preview, share, rename, and delete generated PDF files.
These actions may affect files stored on your device, such as files saved under
Downloads/ByteForge PDF or app-specific storage on older Android versions.
Please review file names, previews, and confirmation dialogs carefully, especially before
deleting files or sharing them with other apps or people.
5. Output Quality and Compatibility
PDF output size, quality, layout, orientation, and compatibility may vary depending on the source images, image format, metadata, selected settings, device capabilities, Android version, and third-party apps used to open or share PDF files. We do not guarantee that every image, file provider, PDF viewer, printer, or sharing destination will work perfectly.
6. Advertising
The App may display advertisements through Google AdMob. Some ads may be personalized depending on your location, settings, and consent choices. In regions where consent is required, the App uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to manage those choices.
7. Third-Party Services
The App may use third-party services such as Google AdMob, Google UMP, Google Play services, Google Play In-App Review, Google Firebase Analytics, and Google Firebase Crashlytics. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms, privacy policies, and platform rules.
8. No Professional or Archival Advice
The App is a general-purpose utility. It is not intended to provide legal, archival, compliance, document-management, or professional advice. If you need PDF files for legal, tax, medical, business, or archival purposes, you are responsible for verifying that the generated files meet your requirements.
9. No Warranty
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will always be available, error-free, secure, uninterrupted, or compatible with every device, file provider, image format, PDF viewer, printer, or Android version.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ByteForge Tools shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of files, loss of profits, business interruption, or claims arising from your use of, inability to use, sharing of, or reliance on files created with the App.
11. Changes to the App
We may update, modify, add, or remove features from the App from time to time. We may also change advertising behavior, supported formats, quality settings, file handling, or user interface details to improve the App or comply with platform requirements.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
