Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Image to PDF Converter ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use the App. The App is designed to combine images into PDF files locally on your device, without requiring an account and without uploading your photos or generated PDF files to ByteForge Tools servers.
1. Information We Process
1.1 Images and generated PDF files
The App lets you select images from your device and convert them into PDF files. The selected images are processed locally on your device. We do not upload your selected images, generated PDF files, image contents, file names, or file paths to ByteForge Tools servers.
The App may read technical information about selected images, such as dimensions, file format, file size, and orientation metadata, in order to display previews, arrange pages, rotate images, estimate processing work, and generate the PDF. This processing happens on your device.
1.2 PDF library and local app data
The App stores a local list of generated PDF files so that you can reopen, share, rename, or delete them from the "My PDFs" screen. This local library may include file names, file paths or content URIs, file sizes, page counts, and creation times. This information stays on your device and is not uploaded to ByteForge Tools servers.
Generated PDF files are saved on your device, such as under Downloads/ByteForge PDF
on supported Android versions. On older Android versions, files may be saved in app-specific
external storage and shared through Android's file sharing system.
1.3 App settings and backup
The App stores certain settings locally, such as theme preference, PDF default settings, PDF list sorting/view mode, rating prompt state, and basic app usage counters needed to make the App work correctly. Android system backup may back up SharedPreferences if you have device backup enabled. Generated PDF files and selected image contents are not intentionally included in the App's backup rules.
1.4 Advertising data
The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect or use device identifiers, including the advertising ID, IP address, coarse location derived from IP, app interaction information, crash data, diagnostic data, and other information as described by Google's policies.
In regions where consent is required, the App uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request and manage your choices for personalized advertising and related purposes. If you do not consent to personalized advertising, ads may still be shown, but they may be non-personalized where supported.
1.5 Feedback and support emails
If you contact us by email through the App or otherwise, we will receive the information you choose to include, such as your email address, message content, screenshots, or attachments. We use this information only to respond to your request and improve the App.
1.6 Analytics and crash reporting
The App uses Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand how the App is used in aggregate and to detect and fix stability problems. These tools may collect usage events (such as when PDF generation starts or completes), app and device information (such as app version, device model, operating system version, language, and approximate region derived from IP address), and crash or diagnostic data (such as stack traces and the state of the App at the time of a crash).
This information is used to improve the App and is not used by ByteForge Tools to identify you personally. We do not send your selected images, generated PDF contents, file names, or file paths to Firebase Analytics or Firebase Crashlytics.
2. Permissions
- Photos / files selected by you: Used to let you choose images and create PDF files.

Advertising-related data, aggregate analytics data, and crash diagnostics may be processed by Google and its partners according to Google's policies and your consent choices.
When you choose to share a generated PDF, the file is shared through Android's system sharing interface with the app or person you select. You are responsible for deciding what to share and with whom.
6. Data Retention
